角膜とは、目の最も前のいわゆる茶目の前にある、透明な膜です。 → Cornea isthetransparent membrane before former so-called wag of eyes.
厚さは中央部で約0.5mm、周辺部の白目に近いところで0.7mm程度で、直径は11〜12mmです。 → Thethickness is around 0.7mm intheplace that is near to approximately 0.5mm, thewhite of eyes ofthepenumbra in central part,andadiameter is 11-12mm.

角膜内皮細胞層-角膜の最も内側にある、一層の細胞層です。 → Ofthecorneal endothelium cell layer-cornea is more cell layer intheinside most.
蜂の巣の様な六角形構造をしているのが理想です。 → It isanideal to dothehexagonal structure such asthehive.
この細胞はポンプの役割をしていて、眼の中から角膜にしみてくる水分を、再度、眼の中に戻してあげる役割をします。 → This cell plays a role asthepump and playsarole returningthewater whichthecornea aches from from eyes to in eyes again.
しかし、内皮細胞の機能が衰えてくると、角膜中に水分が溜まる状態になります。 → However,water becomes in condition to collect in cornea whenthefunction oftheendothelium declines.
この病気を水疱性角膜症と呼びますが、現在、我が国で角膜移植を受ける患者さんの中で最も多い疾患です。 → Call this disease bullous keratopathy,but amthedisease that there is the most it among patients undergoing corneal transplant in our country now.
角膜移植が必要となる病気は大きく分けて、 → Greatly distributethedisease that corneal transplant is necessary for,

外因的疾患に因るもの → It depends onanexogenous disease
ウイルスの感染や細菌の感染等により透明性を失ってしまうもの。 → Lose transparency bytheinfection ofthevirus or bacterial infection.

遺伝的疾患に因るもの → It depends onahereditary disease
角膜の変成や変形等で、原因が遺伝的なもの。 → Thething thatacause is hereditary in anamorphism orthetransformation ofthecornea.

外傷に因るもの → It depends onaninjury
酸やアルカリによる外傷、火傷、眼を傷つける様な事故、薬物の副作用に因るもの、他の眼の手術による影響等があります。 → There areaninjury by acid andthealkali, aburn, theaccident that seem to hurt eyes, athing depending ontheside effect ofthedrug, theinfluence bytheoperation of other eyes.
角膜移植とは、角膜が外傷や感染症、遺伝的疾患等により透明性を失ったり、変成や変形に因り、目のフィルムに当たる網膜に、像を結ぶ事が出来無くなった場合に行われる手術の事です。 → Cornea loses transparency byaninjury andaninfectious disease, ahereditary disease and depends on anamorphism and transformation,andthecorneal transplant istheoperation that is performed whenIcan bindanimage together ontheretina equal tothefilm of eyes and disappear.
大きく２通りの方法があります。 → There are greatly two ways of methods.
変成や混濁している箇所が浅い場合には、患者さんの角膜の表層を交換する、表層角膜移植手術を行います。 → When anamorphism andapoint becoming turbid are shallow, Iperformanouter layer corneal transplant operation to changetheouter layer ofthecornea ofapatient.
しかし、全体が濁ったり変性を起こしている場合には、全体を入れ替える全層角膜移植手術を行う必要があります。 → However,it is necessary to operate for all layer corneal transplant to replacethewhole whenthewhole is muddy and causes denaturation.
死後(心停止、及び脳死後)、眼球を提供して頂き、角膜移植待機患者に斡旋する公的機関をアイバンクと言います。 → Have you donateaneyeball posthumously(afteracardiac arrest and brain death),andaneye bank meansapublic institution to mediate toacorneal transplant waiting patient.
